About Me

My name is Xiaoyuan (Owen) Wu, currently a first year Societal Computing PhD student at CMU advised by Professor Lujo Bauer. I was previously advised by Professor Adam J. Aviv at GWUSEC.

I grew up in Shanghai, China and came to the United States during summer in 2015. After spending three years in California, I came to DC and began pursuing my undergraduate degree at GWU. I graduated from GWU in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics.
